We have such a great job at The Proposers… not only do we get thanks from our wonderful clients, our services have also led to us being nominated for, and even winning, awards!!
Our first award was the Jacqueline Gold ‘Wow’ Award in 2013. Jacqueline Gold, who owns Ann Summers, launched this award through Twitter as part of a fantastic campaign to encourage female business owners. Over 200 businesses entered each week, and we ended up winning!
At the end of 2014, we also travelled up to Birmingham for the Small Business Sunday 2015 event, and we were named one of the winners of Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis’ award for small businesses! We had a wonderful day of networking with the other winners and the big wigs of the business world.
It’s not all about winning however, and we are also very excited when we’re nominated for awards! We were shortlisted for the National Blog Awards earlier this year in not one but two categories: Events, and also Weddings. The theme for the awards was Mad Hatters, and the evening was so fun… of course Daisy couldn’t resist a good picture opportunity!
It’s such an honour to be considered, and besides, we were distracted by a very special event that was coming up not long after…. The Romantic Awards!
The Mills and Boon Romantic Awards was a very exciting event for us, because our founder Daisy was asked to be a judge!! What’s more, this very blog was nominated for the “best blogger†category.
It doesn’t stop there though – two of our very own proposers, Hasan and Arran, were finalists for the title of Most Romantic Hero award!! Although we didn’t win in our category, we were so thrilled to have made it to being one of the three finalists.
Now, for the most exciting part… we’ve been nominated for yet another award!!
We’ve been shortlisted as one of The Pitch’s 100 small businesses in the UK! This is so exciting because it is such a diverse and wide ranging competition and we’re honoured to have even made it to the top 100…
We’ll be sure to keep you all updated on how we get along!!
