Perhaps you have been thinking about proposing for a while but missed the boat with a Christmas/New Year proposal or a Valentine’s proposal was just too clique. Good news, Easter is coming up and it’s a perfect time to propose. Here is a list of ideas we have come up with to make your Easter proposal truly unforgettable.
Chocolate tasting tour:
Book you and your partner on a chocolate making workshop. As you wait for your chocolate to set in the fridge, you sip champagne and relax. When the chocolates are ready, the Chocolatier will bring out your masterpiece. However it’s been secretly swapped for chocolates that say “Marry Me” on it. You Partner won’t suspect a thing.
Why not pack a picnic with all your partners favourite delicacies. Hidden in the basket can be an Easter egg shaped ring box which she can keep in memory of the Easter proposal. Choose a memorable spot to have the picnic or a secret hidden place they haven’t been before. Make sure it’s a quiet spot with no one else around. She will soon find the Easter ring box and you can be ready to pop the question.
Golden Easter egg hunt:
Why not go down the traditional route this Easter and purchase a set of golden eggs. In each one fill it with Easter treats as well as a clue to help find the next egg. Scatter these all around your garden or house. The final egg will have the engagement ring in it with a note saying, “will you marry me”.
Easter basket surprise:
Create the perfect Easter basket with everything she loves in it. Include spring themed goodies like hot cross buns, Easter chocolate or add little gifts that would be sentimental to the both of you. Whatever she loves, fill the basket with it. Make it look beautiful and try to incorporate the ring.
