We are so excited to tell you all about the FIRST EVER Mills & Boon Romantics Awards that we attended earlier this week.
AND not only did we attend but our founder Daisy was judging the big event, AND this very blog was a finalist for the 'Best Blogger' category!
So as you can see it was quite a big evening for The Proposers!
After getting soaked in the rain at our Picnic Proposal that morning in Hampstead Heath...Drowned rats much?
we had just an hour to get glammed up and catch our taxi to the event on the 17th Floor of the News Building in London BridgeOn the 'red carpet'!
As one of the 9 judges Daisy had a quick run through of her presentation then it was time for her photo call with all the other Romance Experts who were judging the awards!!Daisy with James Lord from Quintessentially Weddings Author Tracey Cox was also one of the fab judges All the judges together
As the guests started to arrive we were SO excited to see two of our previous proposers Hasan and Arran...
both of whom were finalists for the Most Romantic Hero Award!!!
You may remember Hasan from the epic Covent Garden Flashmob Proposal!
And how could you forget Arran's super cute disney themed treasure hunt proposal!And of course Arran and Hasan had both got that all important yes! The Proposers with our proposers!!
Hasan was joined by his beautiful fiancé Soma and unfortunately as Callum was on a flight Arran was joined by his close friend Emily who had actually been a part of his proposal!Hasan & Soma Just enough time for a glass (or two) of prosecco with our previous clients before the awards kicked off!
Daisy was judging the 'Most Romantic Experience Award' perfect for us as we are always looking for for super romantic places to pop the question!!The amazing Jenna Forte was presenting the awards
The three finalists in the experience category were amazing but the winners were Lady Lena! A gorgeous boat that takes couples on romantic trips through Bath.The winners!
The Most Romantic Blogger category was won by the fab blog 30 Dates but we are so so happy that we were even nominated and then voted one of the three finalists!!! Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to vote for us!!
We had the best time and were so glad to be part of the first ever Romantics Awards we can't wait for next year!!!
Not to forget a huge thank you to everyone who took part and submitted their fab ideas!
We've planned over 500 proposal¦created flashmobs in Times Square, abseiled into caves to set up candlelit picnics, scuba dived with marry me signs and even had cats delivering the ring..anything is possible!! Not to mention our 100% She Said Yes success rate!!
