Most couples want rose petals at their proposal, but not John. He wanted something even more unique for his proposal to his lovely girlfriend Mary-Kate. John wanted to propose in an iconic location so we suggested Tower Bridge. Not only because it is iconic itself, but also because it has beautiful views that stretch along the Thames, providing a beautiful view over London.
He wanted a proposal that was simple, but still romantic and unique so we suggested that instead of a trail of roses we could create a trail of chocolates along the walkway in Tower Bridge, which would lead to a cake stand full of... yes, you guessed it, more chocolate! John loved this idea so we set to work planning his beautiful proposal. On the day of the proposal we laid out over 400 chocolates along the walkway and, as Mary Kate's favourite colour is purple (because of Cadbury's), we had the lights in the walkways put on in purple especially for the occasion!
When John and Mary Kate entered the room she was shocked to see that it had been decorated just for her! As the couple reached the end of the walkway they discovered the delicious, luxury chocolates we had laid out for them.
After enjoying a few of the scrumptious chocolates, John got down on one knee and asked Mary Kate to be his wife...
...and she of course said YES!
The couple then celebrated with a lovely photoshoot by Tower Bridge. We are massively envious of their stunning engagement shots!
