CANAL BOAT PROPOSAL

Published on 29th June '16

Kat wanted to propose to her girlfriend Carmel and came to us for help. She knew that she wanted to propose in a way that Carmel would never forget, but needed our assistance to do this. We couldn’t wait to help and got to work straight away to come up with romantic ideas for their proposal. Both Kat and Carmel live in London so Kat knew that the proposal had to take place here. She wanted the proposal to reflect London and a boat is a fantastic way to see the sights.

The plan was for the couple to go on a private canal tour where they could take in the scenery in a relaxing environment. Little did Carmel know what was about to happen!

They were enjoying a glass of bubbly together they noticed a person standing at the side of the canal. As they got closer the person began to play the guitar. But this wasn’t any ordinary person; this was our amazing singer Nikki and she was singing Carmel and Kat’s ‘song’, Ellie Golding’s ‘How long will I love you’. Just at the right moment two of our proposal planners dropped a massive banner down from the bridge in front of them which said, 'Carmel Will You Marry Me?’

That’s when Kat got down on one knee, pulled out a gorgeous diamond ring and asked Carmel to marry her.Of course she said YES!

The couple celebrated by enjoying the rest of the canal ride with a bottle of bubbly. We also received this lovely message from Kat: "Thank you for everything, I was so happy and Carmel loved it! It was a complete surprise. Thank you so much!" They absolutely loved their proposal, so much in fact that they have asked us to plan their wedding!

Congratulations to the lovely couple. We wish them every happiness in the future!
