Chris contacted us all the way from the United States to plan his proposal for his beautiful girlfriend, Jeni. He wanted his proposal to be something that has never been done before and utterly romantic... so this is exactly what we did.
The Shangri-La Hotel is the 5* hotel in The Shard, which is one of Londons most iconic landmarks. After planning hundreds of romantic successful proposals in the hotel, we have built a very strong relationship together! This has many of its perks, one being that for Chris' marriage proposal they allowed us exclusive access to their stunning Sky Bar!
As our excited groom-to-be wanted a proposal idea never been done before, we knew that this would be the perfect spot for him! But now it was time to put our creative caps on and come up with a theme and decor ideas! After coming up with some incredible ideas, we finally knew the most ideal theme...
INFINITY!
The main feature of the Sky Bar is their stunning infinity pool which overlooks onto the breath-taking views of London. We knew this theme would be perfect as it would symbolise the infinite love between our happy couple! We completely transformed the Sky Bar with a trendy balloon garland, floating balloons across the pool and beautiful romantic decor.
And to top it all off, we printed the quote 'I Will Love You To Infinity And Beyond' onto the glass overlooking the London Skyline which reflected and twinkled onto the water of the pool!
Chris booked a table at the restaurant inside of The Shangri-la, TING, so Jeni wouldn't expect a thing! As their meal came to an end he 'excused himself to the toilet', however he was actually coming to meet our Proposal Planner to prepare himself for his big moment!
Meanwhile, another one of our planners approached Jeni with a beautiful gift Infinity bracelet from Tiffany & Co. with the instructions to follow our planner as a surprise is waiting!
As Jeni entered into the Sky Bar, she was completely surprised to see the most beautifully room and the love of her life standing at the opposite end holding her favourite flower.
Chris then got onto one knee and said Will You Marry Me...
Through so much emotion, JENI SAID YES!
