David came all the way from Washington to London because he wanted to propose to his lovely girlfriend Ting. He had one specific request that he wanted us to fulfil; for the proposal to be in an iconic London landmark and we immediately knew the place. The gorgeous Wellington Arch. Wellington Arch is unique, not only because it overlooks Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye and Hyde Park, but also because only The Queen, or a member of the Royal Family can drive beneath it.
David wanted a quintessentially English proposal location and we definitely delivered! When they arrived at Wellington Arch the couple were greeted by a group of singers who were performing Ting’s favourite song, Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud.' David seized this opportunity to make a swift exit, leaving Ting to be danced into another room by the singers.
When she entered the room Ting couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw pink rose petals trailing along the floor before her. There were candles behind three easels that had been laid out along the trail. Each easel contained a canvas that had been beautifully wrapped.
As Ting unwrapped the easels they revealed memories from her and David’s life together.
The last canvas led Ting onto the balcony which overlooked the Palace. It was here that David was waiting for her. As she approached him he got down on one knee...
... and brought out the most amazing diamond ring!
He then asked Ting to be his wife, and she said YES!
The couple celebrated their happy news with a delicious bottle of bubbly.
